Pita Pit as a franchise is awesome. This location... not so much. Our office has ordered through call-in and online at least 5 times this year, and each time has been more difficult than the last.
Every time we order is a struggle. Their employees have no idea what's going on or how to do their jobs. Even the managers are misinformed about the products & policies, and will outright refuse to accept responsibility for their team's mistakes.
This week we opted for delivery. Pita Pit won't tell you this, but their "store delivery" is really just them hiring Postmates. They'll charge you $10 for delivery, then hire Postmates who regularly charge $5 for their delivery... Seriously?! Way to rip off your customer!
We would have been happy just ordering directly through Postmates (We have delivery credit with them so it would've been even cheaper), but we were told BY THE MANAGER to send in our staff order through email. Why? Is this just their way of upselling on orders to make an extra few bucks?
Aside from being overcharged for delivery, this approach also gives no notice that your food is about to arrive. Postmates showed up and abandoned our order by the front door - didn't ring the doorbell or anything. Two of our orders were wrong, and when we called this Pita Pit to let them know, the manager told us she had "made the decision" of what we wanted when something in the orders weren't available. Genuinely did not care that what we paid for wasn't what we received, and didn't try at all to provide decent customer service.
We've had enough terrible service here, and will no longer be ordering from this location. -

Located near PSU's red center, this Pita Pit is a great place to eat at when you're a student at PSU and you need a quick bite to eat between classes! They have many predetermined combinations, or you can customize your pita. You can get a small pita, regular pita, make it a salad, or even substitute a gluten free wrap ($1 extra)! And if you don't eat meat, they of course have completely vegetarian options available. Their side options include cookies, pita chips, or potato chips.
My number one favorite thing about this place is that they list the amount of calories in the food on the menu board.
*Order:*
Buffalo Chicken Small Pita-
Came with chicken, buffalo sauce, onions, ranch, and lettuce. Appeared much smaller than I thought it would be, but it was actually quite filling. I also loved how fresh the vegetables tasted!
*Wait time:*
None to order, and only 3-5 minutes to get my food.
*Seating:*
They have bar tool seating along the windows, as well as regular tables to sit at.
*Service:*
Great! The cashier was pleasant and so was the woman who cooked my food.

I love pita pit because the ingredients are fresh, wide selections of veggies and high quality ingredients! It's a good place to go when you want a meal that is healthy and satisfying! Drab interior is annoying but not a big deal.
